What call quality can I expect?

Call quality will be better than a standard phone line and in most cases you will get HD voice quality. However it’s largely dependant on the quality and speed of your internet connection. But don’t worry, we can assess your current connection and advise accordingly prior to you placing an order.

How easy is it to set up?

It’s just a matter of plugging in the pre-configured phones we send you and you will be able to start making and receiving calls. Our technical team will, however, be on hand every step of the way should you need any help or advice.

Can I keep my current phone number?

Yes, in the majority of cases we will be able to port your existing phone number or number range.

Can I add phone numbers?

Yes, we can provide you with additional phone numbers to use. You can choose numbers for any geographical location in the UK, regardless of your own physical location.

Can I use existing phones?

Any IP phone that uses SIP protocol should be compatible with our systems. If you are in doubt, just contact our help team for advice.

Can I add extensions at a later date?

You can add extensions to your plan at any time. Start with a few, and add as many as you need as your business grows. You can also add them for busy periods and remove them when you are done.

Is it cheaper?

Should be, with digital voice there is no need for analogue phone lines and so no need to pay line rental. The saving on that alone could pay for a couple of business extensions. That coupled with our no contract call inclusive plans should see some big savings for most businesses

Can I still call emergency services?

Yes, you can call any of the emergency services numbers just as you would at the moment.

Will it work in a power cut?

The simple answer is No. If your router losses power or your internet connection goes offline for any reason you will not be able to use your digital phone. However, if you have a data allowance on your mobile phone you would be able to use the mobile app via the mobile phone network.

What if I move premises?

That’s easy, you take your phones to your new office and connect them to your router. Your number will move with you. And if you want a new number with a different area code, we can provide that as well.

What if I have a problem?

You can contact our support team by phone, email and WhatsApp. We are based in the UK, we won’t keep you on hold for an eternity or ask you lots of pointless questions before you speak to someone. We don’t use AI generated responses to your questions and we all know what we are talking about. So if you need help or have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
